Discover what's inside the BattleTech Legendary MechWarriors II ForcePack, including miniatures, pilot cards, and Alpha Strike cards. A detailed contents guide.
Quick Answer
The BattleTech Legendary MechWarriors II ForcePack includes five iconic BattleMech miniatures—SM1 Tank Destroyer, Devastator, Charger, Marauder, and Caesar—plus five MechWarrior Pilot Cards and five Alpha Strike Cards, all at a discounted price.
What Makes This ForcePack Unique
Unlike standard lance packs that group 'Mechs by role or era, the Legendary MechWarriors series focuses on the pilots behind the machines. Each miniature represents a 'Mech piloted by a famous (or infamous) MechWarrior, adding a narrative layer to your games. This makes the pack ideal for players who enjoy backstory and want to field units with a personal touch.
Trade-Offs to Consider
While the pack offers a great discount compared to buying each miniature separately, the 'Mech selection is eclectic. You get a mix of assault and heavy designs (Charger, Devastator, Marauder, Caesar) alongside a tank destroyer (SM1), which may not fit a single cohesive lance composition. If you're building a tournament-optimized force, you might prefer a more role-focused pack.
Decision Rules
- Buy if you want narrative flavor: Each 'Mech comes with a pilot card, letting you bring legendary characters to your tabletop. Great for campaign play or themed battles.
- Buy if you need a variety of heavy and assault 'Mechs: The mix of Charger, Marauder, Caesar, and Devastator gives you solid heavy firepower and durability options.
- Skip if you need a balanced lance: The SM1 Tank Destroyer is a vehicle, not a 'Mech, and the assault-heavy lineup lacks light or medium support. Consider a lance pack for a more balanced force. For a balanced lance, look at the BattleTech ForcePack: Heavy Battle & Sweep Lances.
