Wasn't sure a heavy lance was worth the extra tonnage until I got these on the table. The beefier mechs genuinely change how the whole force plays, and the sculpts fit together cleanly with barely any mold lines to clean up.
The detail on these Davion mechs is sharper than the last lance I picked up, and the weight of the minis feels solid right out of the box. Assembly was quick, though you'll want a hobby knife handy for a couple of the smaller joints.
The extra tonnage in this heavy lance really does shift how the table feels—deploying them forward changes the whole math of an engagement. The miniatures themselves are crisply cast, with clean lines on the chassis that took paint well. A solid pick if you're building out a Davion line.
