Inner Peace...
Juniper City! Po can hardly believe his eyes. The hustle, the bustle, the grandeur, the...FOOD! He simply has to try everything! After all, the Dragon Warrior can’t epically kick butt on an empty stomach now, can he? Can you help him by building the biggest and best Combo Bowls the streets of Juniper City have to offer?
Played this with three friends and we were laughing the whole time — the bidding for dishes gets surprisingly cutthroat. Took us about ten minutes to learn the rules, then we ran three rounds straight. Po fans will get a kick out of the character cards.
The card art is way better than I expected for a tabletop game, and the Juniper City setting actually makes the food-stealing mechanic feel like part of the story instead of a gimmick. We played three rounds back to back on the first night.
My kids actually cheered when they realized Po shows up on the cards — the art is genuinely charming, not the cheap clip-art I braced for. The dumpling bidding rule keeps every round tense right up to the last plate. Played three games back to back and nobody wanted to stop.
