Category: Miniatures
One of the most celebrated mercenary units in the Inner Sphere. Founded by the legendary MechWarrior Morgan Kell and his brother Patrick, the Kell Hounds have played pivotal roles in the history of the Successor States, from the Succession Wars to the Clan Invasion. The Striker Lance includes the Wolfhound, Griffin, Crusader, and Nightsky.
Painting the strikers was a blast, the panel lines on the mechs take washes really well. Kell Hounds were always my favorite merc unit, so finally having them on the table is great.
The detail on these minis is sharper than I expected for the scale, especially the panel lines on the 'Mechs. The lance fits right into my mercenary company for classic-era games. Only wish the bases were cast a touch thicker, but that's nitpicking.
Finally got around to assembling these and the sculpts really capture Morgan Kell’s unit’s aggressive stance perfectly. Each mini fits together cleanly with barely any mold lines, and the detail on the missile pods is sharp enough that painting them feels like a treat.
