A notable SLDF unit from the Second Star League, the 2nd Star League Assault Lance is the second in a series of four Star League-themed ForcePacks intended to celebrate BattleTech's 40th Anniversary. Includes a pre-painted miniature of Victor Davion's "Prometheus" as well as the Emperor, Argus, Helios, and Coolant Truck Support Vehicle.
Picked this up to round out my Star League collection and the sculpts are fantastic — clean mold lines, barely any flash to trim. The assault mechs in this pack have great poses compared to the last anniversary release.
Wasn't expecting the detail on these — the panel lines and missile pods are crisp enough that they take paint without any prep work. Picked this up to round out my Star League collection for the 40th Anniversary, and the four-mech lance fits right in with the rest. Molds came clean, no flash to trim
The sculpts on these SLDF mechs really capture the ceremonial look of the Second Star League, and the plastic feels sturdy enough for repeated play. As the second pack in the 40th anniversary series, the assembly was straightforward and the parts fit together cleanly without much cleanup.
