BattleTech BFM: Volcanic/Glacier

The neoprene really does make a difference, minis don't slide around when someone bumps the table. Big enough that our whole battalion fits with room to spare.

I've used a lot of paper maps that slide around mid-game, so the neoprene backing on this mat was a welcome change — minis stay put and dice don't roll off the edge. It unrolled flat within an hour and covered my whole 4x6 table without any wrinkles.

The neoprene surface is thick enough that dice rolls stay put even during intense firefights, and the volcanic/glacier split helps me separate my forces visually at a glance. Unrolled it on our biggest table and it laid flat with zero curling at the edges.
