I grabbed this on a whim before a Wednesday game and ended up building a whole session around two of the NPCs. Each card's short backstory is enough to improvise from without reading a wall of text mid-scene.

Olivia M. ★★★★★

My players went off-script last session, so I flipped to a random card mid-scene and the back story gave me a name, a grudge, and enough motive to improvise for an hour. The NPCs feel like people with their own agendas rather than stat blocks waiting to be fought.

John K. ★★★★★

I was tired of scrambling for memorable side characters mid-session, and this deck fixed that instantly. Every card gives a quick back story that slots right into whatever corporate or street-level plot I'm running, so the world feels alive without me doing extra homework.
